As a former teacher, Kerry understands the relentless work and dedication required of the field and knows that a helpful resource at the right time can make a world of difference. Kerry partners with Heinemann and Booksource to curate the best resources for your classroom or educational institution.
Kelli Westmoreland is a veteran educator who has advocated effective instruction through the use of classroom libraries for over twenty years. An experienced professional development writer and author, she often presents at local, state, and national literacy conferences. Her skill set and knowledge assists teachers, schools, and districts across the country to integrate an effective balanced literacy framework into their classrooms. Kelli is the CEO of KelliWest Educational Services, a professional development and coaching resource. Kelli's doctoral thesis is on the integration of multimodal resources into ELA curricula.
Jaci McDonald, a Purdue University graduate, is a Booksource Sales Representative. After four years at Booksource Headquarters on the Literacy and Education team, Business Development team, and lastly, creating and leading the Inside Sales department, Jaci took the opportunity to be a stay-at-home mom to her son, Duke. After a few months, she knew that getting back into the education sales market was something she was missing. Today, she calls on her wonderful customers while caring for her husband, son, and new baby daughter! Life is good!
A lifelong passion for literature led Julie to the pleasure of working at Booksource home offices for several years. During her time there she fulfilled various roles including managing New York City accounts, collaborating with educators in the Midwest and West in the Literacy and Education department, and analyzing trends and the future of education on the Research and Development team. Julie is thrilled to be partnering with Kerry Williams and B K Educational Resources to serve as a Booksource sales representative.
Being an educator has not only given Gretchen a passion for literature but also for the children that read it. With over 10 years of classroom experience, Gretchen loves the concept of partnering with educators to provide the materials they need to reach their students. She understands that literature, and developing a love for it, is the perfect way for a teacher and student to develop a lasting bond and a platform to then build on. She is thrilled to join BK Educational Resources as an inside sales representative offering customized packages from Booksource and Heinemann.
Erin, our office manager, does all she can to support the team so they can devote the bulk of their time to helping teachers.
